Avalue is unveiling the new Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) digital signage player solutions - SOPM-HM65 and SOPM-QM87. SOPM-HM65 is powered by Intel® 2nd/ 3rd Generation Core™ i7/ i5/ i3, Pentium® and Celeron® Processors with Intel® HM65 express chipset. SOPM-QM87 is powered by Intel® 4th Generation Core™ i7/ i5/ i3, Pentium® and Celeron® Processors with Intel® QM87 express chipset. Avalue’s OPS solution is an ideal solution for multi-display applications, such as retail store, restaurant, public transportation information board, hotel, bank, shopping mall, museum & art center and many more.
Intel® developed the digital signage Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) which enables a standard and easier integration of a digital signage computing system or a pluggable module into the display panel. Intel® OPS standard is to simplify the device installation, usage, maintenance and any upgrades of a digital signage infrastructure. With this open standard, users only need to replace their interchangeable module instead of the whole unit, greatly reducing installation and maintenance cost. This also will provide a more user-friendly digital signage solution to anyone in the emerging Digital Signage Market.
SOPM-HM65 is powered by Intel® 2nd/ 3rd Generation Core™ i7/ i5/ i3, Pentium® and Celeron® Processors with Intel® HM65 express chipset, which supports one 204-pin DDR3 1333/ 1066 non-ECC SODIMM system memory with up to 8GB capacity. I/O includes two USB2.0, Lind-out, Mic-in, two SMA connectors, one Realtek ALC661 audio codec, one Realtek RTL8111E PCIe express gigabit Ethernet and one half size Mini-PCIe socket. With one 2.5” drive bay (7mm) for storage.
SOPM-QM87 is powered by Intel® 4th Generation Core™ i7/ i5/ i3, Pentium® and Celeron® Processors with Intel® QM87 express chipset, which supports two 204-pin dual-channel DDR3L 1333/ 1600 non-ECC SODIMM system memory with up to 16GB capacity. For the I/O ports includes one power button, one HDD LED, one reset button, two USB3.0, Lind-out, Mic-in, two SMA connectors, one Realtek ALC622 audio codec, one Intel® I217LM PCIe express gigabit Ethernet and one half size Mini-PCIe socket supports mSATA SSD switch through BIOS. With one 2.5” drive bay (7mm) for storage. For the display, offers stunning 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD) content via a HDMI port and supports DP interface for 2nd display presentation.
The Avalue fanless open pluggable module measuring only 200 mm wide x 119 mm deep x 30mm high is a space-saving designed, which is easy convenient to ship out, easy to setup and provides a faster time-to-market.
