TAIPEI, TAIWAN, January 30th, 2014 – Avalue Technology Inc. (TAIEX: 3479-TW), the leading manufacturer in IPC, introduces a brand new series product line, Rity series, which is dedicate in POS all in one terminal and expect to bring the market a new solution for this application. POS all in one terminal is a typical application in IPC field; however, with the trend of intelligent systems developing, traditional POS solutions are not good enough: nowadays, customers request more integrated, powerful and talent products. Keeping customers’ needs on mind, Avalue leverages the expertise in IPC to POS solutions and is unveiling Rity series with confidence.
Latest Intel®Platform: Fit Retail Applications Better
Rity series is equipped with the newest Intel® Atom™ Bay Trial Qual Core E3845 1.91GHz. (Ceder Trail D2550 Dual Core 1.86GHz is also available) This system-on-chip (SoC) incorporates up to 4-core processors and supports system memory DDR3L-1066/1333 SO-DIMM up to 8 GB.

Powerful I/O expansion: Many fond in IOH in processor; 2nd Generation PCIe with mature IOH eco-system.
Greater multi-media effect: Accelerated DRM, encode and decode, 4x to 7x graphics performance improvement.
Rich I/O Interfaces: Wider peripherals support and system expansion
Consider to possibility of devices connection, Avalue Rity series supports various I/O and expansion interface: mPCIe with SIM holder for 3G application. 2 powered COMs (RI/5V/12V, setting by BIOS), which are convenient for power-required device connection. 3 USB 3.0 and 1 USB 2.0 provides well system expansion and also the ease of system upgrade and data upload. 1 RJ-11 with 12V/24V, 1A out is set for Cash Drawer support. Besides above, 2 LANs, HDMI port and optional WiFi are included for reserving more flexibility of system connection.

System ME/ID Design
Since Rity Series is focus in Retail market and POS system, Avalue team devotes lots of effort on ID design to give it an elegant appearance and bring users/consumers nice using experience. For practical purpose, Rity is also designed with service windows for quickly system maintenance (for RAM and HDD). Mounting devices including desk stand and wall mount (VESA 75x75) are available for easy installation.
Durability and Reliability
POS system is a heavy-duty application on being touched and operated. Therefore it’s very important to ensure the system is highly reliable. Rity series is completely fanless operation which is helpful on system durability and noise-reduction. Anti-scratch technology ensures the longevity of touch panel. The remarkable dust and water proof protects system away from damages caused by liquid penetration or splash. (Front IP-65 & Back IP-41)
