Avalue’s tiny mini fanless system, NUC-APL & NUC-APL-slim. Go small, get big!

TAIPEI, TAIWAN, Jan 7th, 2021 – Avalue Technology Inc. (TAIEX: 3479-TW), a global industrial PC solution provider and an associate member of the Intel® Internet of Things Solutions Alliance, is unveiling NUC-APL and NUC-APL-slim fanless systems built around Intel's Next Unit of Computing (NUC) form factor. Next Unit of Computing (NUC) is a line of small-form-factor barebone computer kits designed by Intel®. Intel® NUC is a small form factor PC with a tiny footprint. Short for Next Unit of Computing, Intel® NUC (say it like “luck” or “truck”) puts full-sized PC power in the palm of your hand.


NUC-APL series is a fanless system built around Intel's Next Unit of Computing (NUC) form factor. NUC-APL series is a mighty and tiny mini PC, with a powerful processor, fast memory, and massive storage comparable to the latest full-size desktop PCs. NUC-APL features the Intel® Celeron® Processor J3455/N3350. It offers dual HDMI, one DP, multiple USB3.0 ports, and two COM ports on the rear side for use in various applications and scenarios. Adopted with Intel HD graphics, the NUC-APL can handle HD media and more demanding applications than traditional low-power systems. With high performance, but the TDP is only less than 22 watts.


Avalue is also releasing another small-form-factor barebone computer - NUC-APL-slim. NUC-APL-slim and NUC-APL are with the same CPU, the same HD Graphics, and the same connection I/O ports arrangement. But NUC-APL-slim removes one 2.5” hard drive, one COM port, and one DP port. The user could install a solid-state M.2 module for storage. And the size is more compact for space-limited applications.


NUC-APL Series is armed for light industrial general-purpose applications, such as smart gateway, smart retail, smart education, smart service, video conference facility, and control unit.
